Last Updated: December, 2024
OnvoLabs LTD ("OnVo") upholds a zero-tolerance policy for slavery and human trafficking, underscoring our dedication to ethical and responsible conduct. We are committed to maintaining rigorous systems and controls to prevent the occurrence of these practices in both our operations and supply chains. Our Anti-Slavery Policy reflects our strong opposition to all forms of modern slavery and is a testament to our commitment to ensuring a slavery-free environment within our business activities and partnerships.
OnVo expects all those in our supply chain and contractors to comply with our policies. OnVo acknowledges responsibility to the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will ensure transparency within the organization and with suppliers of goods and services to the organization.
The following actions are to be undertaken to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place:
1) Platform Usage Disclaimer. OnVo's platform and services are strictly intended for legitimate and legal purposes. The platform must not be used in any manner that relates to or facilitates slavery and/or human trafficking. Any misuse of the platform for such purposes is prohibited and will result in immediate action, including but not limited to termination of services and reporting to relevant authorities.
2) Risk Assessment. OnVo conducts regular risk assessments to determine parts of our business and supply chains that are most at risk of slavery and human trafficking.
3) Due Diligence Processes. OnVo conducts thorough due diligence before engaging new suppliers and consistently reviews current suppliers to assess risks of modern slavery and human trafficking throughout the supply chain, beyond just the first tier. We expect full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations against slavery and human trafficking from all our supply chain entities.
4) Employment. OnVo upholds fair and ethical employment practices for all of its employees. This includes strictly adhering to legal standards such as minimum age requirements and fair remuneration. OnVo has zero tolerance for forced labor, child labor, or any exploitative practices in our hiring and employment policies.
5) Training and Awareness. OnVo is committed to equipping our employees, suppliers, and business partners with the knowledge and tools necessary to recognize and combat modern slavery and human trafficking. Through comprehensive training programs, we aim to cultivate a vigilant and responsible culture where all stakeholders are aware of the risks and encouraged to report any suspicions of such exploitative practices.
6) Compliance. OnVo requires all staff, suppliers, and contractors to attest that they comply with anti-slavery and human trafficking laws and policies.
7) Reporting. OnVo actively encourages all employees, suppliers, and stakeholders to report any concerns or suspicions related to such issues. To support this commitment, we have established a confidential reporting mechanism designed to facilitate the secure and anonymous reporting of matters related to modern slavery and human trafficking. This mechanism ensures that all concerns are received and addressed promptly and thoroughly, while protecting the identity and confidentiality of the individuals making the reports.
8) Remediation. Should any violation or failure to adhere to this policy occur, immediate and suitable measures will be implemented to address and resolve the issue. We are committed to maintaining the standards set forth in this policy and demand a similar commitment to these principles from all parties involved in our operations.
9) Policy Review and Update. This Anti-Slavery Policy will be reviewed annually to ensure its effectiveness. OnVo reserves the right to modify the contents of this policy at any time, including in order to remain in compliance with changes in applicable law.
